Not to worry, though, as those with conflicting feelings on the matter should be happy to run across a medical supplies trader in Nuka-World’s marketplace who needs help ejecting the current tenants and returning the park to the people who deserve it.Įxactly three things change as a result of completing this mission. The whole setup might make benevolent gamers extremely reluctant to move forward with the story after clearing out each of the five remaining zones in Nuka-World and discovering the specifics of Gage’s long-term plan. What’s more, since the DLC doesn’t unlock until Level 30, there are decent odds that the settlements you attack will already belong to you in some fashion. That’s great for those people who just have to break shit and hurt people, but for a large portion of folks, playing the hero is actually fun, and mounting a Raider army to attack the very Commonwealth you just spent hours rebuilding seems incredibly out of character. In part, Nuka-World seems like a direct response to those grumbles. This gang will hole up in the Nuka-World Power Plant, and it’s up to you to go weed them out.Among fans, an inability to act like a sadistic asshole in the main game was one of Fallout 4’s most loudly contested issues. After claiming three settlements and completing The Grand Tour, one gang will turn on you, starting the mission Power Play. If you go the bad guy way, you’ll talk to Shank and start the missions where you have to go reclaim settlements for the Raiders. Hit that, and the park will spring to life. Inside is a console with a big red button. Climb to the top of the Power Plant and you’ll find a security cage.
Once you complete the Open Season mission, walk to the Nuka-World Power Plant on the west side of the map. Going the good guy way means turning on the Raiders and killing the leaders of the gangs. This choice is yours, but it makes turning the power on a little different depending on how you do it. Ultimately, Nuka-World ends with you either helping the three raider gangs move into the Commonwealth, or you turn against them and kill all the raiders.
